It provides a roomy cabin, a reliable engine, and excellent infotainment options to keep your whole family happy. The Trax also has a range of trims so that you can configure this crossover to your liking, from a standard cabin to a more upscale environment.

We’ve taken a closer look at some of the Trax’s main features and configuration options to give you a better idea of what to expect. Feel free to reach out to us at Huffines Chevrolet Lewisville in Texas to learn more.

2024 Chevrolet Trax Overview

The 2024 Trax falls into the subcompact crossover vehicle class. It boasts seating for five people across two rows as well as a large cargo bay at the rear for your groceries or day-to-day baggage. Adults can sit in either row, and there’s also equipment for installing child seating in the rear row.

A 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine that pumps out 137 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque powers all configurations of the Trax. These figures are ideal for city driving and can shift this small crossover up to highway speed without any trouble. In terms of fuel economy, the Trax manages about 32 mpg on the highway and 28 mpg on city roads.

You have a wide range of color options to choose from for your Trax, both inside and out. There are 10 exterior color options available: Cayenne Orange Metallic, Summit White, Sterling Gray Metallic, Crimson Metallic, Mosaic Black Metallic, Nitro Yellow Metallic, Cacti Green, Harvest Bronze Metallic, Fountain Blue, and Blue Glow Metallic.

On the interior, you can choose from colors such as Jet Black/Gray with Blue Accent, Jet Black/Gray with Red Accent, and Jet Black/Blue Accent. If none of these options appeal to you, you can try Jet Black/Yellow Accent, Jet Black/Red Accent, Jet Black/Yellow, or Jet Black/Artemis Yellow.

Trax Trims and Pricing

The Trax is sold in five trims for the 2024 model year: LS, 1RS, LT, 2RS, and ACTIV. It has a starting MSRP of $20,400. The range-topping ACTIV has an MSRP of $23,900. Keep in mind that these prices may vary once you’ve included optional packages and other add-ons.

Here’s a quick guide to the main features you can expect to find in each trim.

Chevrolet Trax LS

The LS is a great choice if affordability is your top priority. The cabin is fitted with cloth upholstery, and the driver and front passenger seats have manual adjustments. On the infotainment front, you’ll get an 8-inch touch screen and a four-speaker stereo. Connectivity options include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, and two USB ports. There’s also a Wi-Fi hotspot so you can easily stay in touch with your friends or work colleagues on the go. The LS is equipped with various driver-assistance features, such as collision warning, lane-keep assist, and a rear seat alert.

Chevrolet Trax 1RS

Stepping up to the 1RS secures you several exciting upgrades. The exterior showcases some sporty assets, including alloy wheels. Inside the cabin, you get heated front seats and a heated steering wheel. The addition of remote start will let you adjust the cabin to your preferred temperature before you get in the vehicle, which can come in handy on a hot summer’s day. For the ultimate relaxed look, you can add an optional sunroof. The MSRP for the 1RS trim is $22,100.

Chevrolet Trax LT

The LT trim focuses on adding an upscale feel to the cabin. You get cloth upholstery with synthetic leather accents as well as a larger 11-inch infotainment screen. The heated front seats and steering wheel from the 1RS trim are not included as standard features, but you can add them as part of an optional package. There are several other new standard features to look forward to in this trim, such as an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, and proximity keyless entry. The MSRP for the LT trim is $22,300.

In addition to the heated seats and steering wheel, a few other options are on offer. These include adaptive cruise control and other safety features, a sunroof, and wireless device charging.

Chevrolet Trax 2RS

The 2RS combines the best features from the 1RS and LT trims and takes them to a new level. You’ll be able to relax on synthetic leather upholstery throughout the cabin to enhance the comfort of your ride. The heated front seats and steering wheel return as standard features in this trim. You can also look forward to the same 11-inch screen featured in the LT trim, together with a six-speaker stereo. The MSRP for the 2RS trim is $23,900.

Chevrolet Trax ACTIV

The ACTIV is the range-topping trim, although it has the same starting price tag as the 2RS. It also shares many of the same interior features, including synthetic leather seats, a heated steering wheel and front seats, and an infotainment setup. The main difference between the ACTIV and the 2RS is the addition of an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat to help you find your ideal position behind the wheel.
