Spend the Day at the Mall

The Music City Mall in Lewisville is a great spot to visit when it’s raining outside, thanks to everything it has to offer. One of the largest shopping malls in the northern Dallas area, MCM has both large retail chains and smaller, independent boutique stores to browse. There are also live music events seven days a week. What’s more, you can kill two or three hours at MCM by catching one of the latest blockbusters at the on-site Cinemark movie theater.

Give an Escape Room a Go

The 1 Hour to Escape attraction offers an exciting interactive day out for adults and children alike. Here, you can choose from a range of scenarios to “escape” out of. There’s also the Escape Rooms HQ’s escape room in Lewisville, which provides a fantastic day out for all.

Relive Your Youth at the Arcade

Make Memories at an Art Exhibit

Although the Museum of Memories is situated in nearby Dallas rather than Lewisville, it’s still very much worth the half-hour drive. Opened to the public in 2019, this colorful art and design exhibit was created by Steffi Lynn Tsai in a bid to transport people back to their childhood, and is focused on nostalgia, positivity, and creativity. It takes around an hour to explore the entire exhibit, which consists of several different art rooms and murals, which are each inspired by memories from childhood. It’s the perfect attraction to pose for a photograph (or 20).

Give Axe Throwing a Try

An up-and-coming activity that is gaining popularity in cities across the globe is axe throwing. Not for the fainthearted, this unique hobby is offered at the GatSplat attraction in Lewisville. The lanes have been built with 12-foot dividers to ensure the maximum level of safety for players, so this spot offers a fun day out for all. You can even play tic-tac-toe with an axe, throwing it at the spot you wish to make your mark.
