Top Hamburger Joints in Lewisville, TX

Maintaining a healthy diet is important, but there are moments when nothing else will do but a big, juicy cheeseburger. Diners disagree on what makes a hamburger perfect. For some, it has to be flame-grilled with a minimum of toppings. Other people enjoy lots of toppings, like lettuce, tomato, onion, mayonnaise, and melty American cheese. Some hamburger fans enjoy creative toppings like guacamole. Fortunately, in Lewisburg, Texas, there are several amazing restaurants where you can order your own version of the perfect hamburger.

The Grind Burger Bar

The Grind Burger Bar and Tap Room has two locations in McKinney and one in Castle Hills. They offer a Signature Burgers menu featuring creations such as the John Wayne, which is a beef patty on a Kaiser bun, aged cheddar, thick-cut bacon, grilled jalapeno, and house-made Dr Pepper barbecue sauce. The Guac Burger, besides its namesake ingredient, also comes with pepper jack cheese, bacon, an onion ring, and grilled jalapeno.

In the mood for something simpler? Try the OG Burger with an old-school combo of lettuce, tomato, American cheese, red onion, and a house-made sauce. If you’re feeling creative, you can also build your own burger. Choose from seven bun options, eight cheese types, 15 sauces, and over 30 different toppings, including charred poblanos, roasted corn, onion marmalade, and eggs.

There are plenty of sides and appetizers to order as well. Try the pretzel bites and beer cheese, loaded fries, sweet potato fries, or fried Buffalo cauliflower. The menu includes other sandwiches, salads, and a huge selection of beer, wine, and cocktails. Dine-in at 2500 King Arthur Blvd., Suite 100, or order online for pickup.

Wulf Burger

This classic burger restaurant doesn’t have a vast menu, but its unique twist is their signature red buns, colored with the natural beef extract. You can also order regular-colored buns. Their offerings include the Wulf Junior, with one beef patty, American cheese, shredded lettuce, tomato, and house-made sauce. The Wulf Classic features the same, with two cakes. For some variety, order the Wulf Special, which comes with American cheese, grilled onions, pickles, and garlic-mustard aioli.

Vegetarians and vegans will be happy here, too, because they offer both the Classic and Special Wulf Burgers with the Impossible Burger patties that have become so popular recently.

You can customize your burger if you like, with add-ons such as avocado, fried egg, chopped chili peppers, bacon, and pastrami. Their burger patties are 100% grass-fed beef with no added hormones or antibiotics, and are always ground in-house. Order some crinkle-cut fries or sweet potato fries for a side and wash it down with soft drinks or a bottle of beer, and you’ll have a meal that will satisfy any burger craving. Wulf Burger is located at 9250 Dallas Parkway, Suite 134 in Frisco.

Burgers and Brats

Serving food with a German influence, Burgers and Brats has a large variety of hamburgers on its menu. You can try the Straight and Narrow Path, which is an old-fashioned burger with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion. The Long and Winding Road, by comparison, includes bacon crumbles, sauteed mushrooms, grilled onions, and cheese. Add a little spice to your life with the Road Rage burger, which includes cayenne pepper, pepper jack, and jalapenos. The German theme is evident in the Dirk Burger: a hamburger patty with a butterflied bratwurst, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, spicy mustard, and the usual lettuce, tomato, and onion.

In addition to delicious burgers, this restaurant serves a variety of bratwurst. Choose a bratwurst or knackwurst sausage, Reuben sandwich, chicken sandwich, or a Philly. Side dishes include hot German potato salad, french fries, sweet potato fries, onion rings, and truffle fries. Bring your appetite to 6100 Long Prairie Road, Suite 300 in Flower Mound.
