Chevy EV Lineup

Chevrolet strives to deliver new and innovative vehicles that are also green energy conscious. The brand has created a lineup of electric vehicles (EVs) that are available now or coming out for the 2024 model year. Chevy delivers everything from compact SUVs to full-size trucks with new technology, engine innovations, and sleek designs that’ll excite you to get behind the wheel of an electric Chevy. Keep reading as our Huffines Chevrolet Lewisville team shares more about the stunning Chevy EV lineup.

2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV

Transforming the mainstay of the Chevy lineup is the 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV, which takes many of the legacy features in the previous gas-powered SUV and revamps it for the new age. The Ultium Platform powers this impressive SUV and delivers quick acceleration to make your daily Lewisville commute a truly fun experience. With a towing capacity of up to 1,500 pounds, you can also take your small toys along for the ride.

With the new age of EVs comes new capabilities, no more will you have to wait ages at the charging station to simply make it five miles down the road to home. With a public DC fast-charging station, you can get a GM-estimated 70 miles of range in as little as 10 minutes. When the Equinox EV is all charged up, you can get an available GM-estimated 300-mile electric range. To get the most out of every kilowatt, the Equinox also has Regen on Demand and One Pedal driving that converts the vehicle’s kinetic energy into stored energy.

The Equinox EV features a more modern exterior and walk-up lighting that puts you center stage and illuminates the night to boost your safety long after the sun goes down. Front and rear lighting animations and flush door handles add to the sleek appearance, letting your EV reflect your style. The well-thought-out interior has ample cargo space, customizable ambient lighting, heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel. A heated front wiper ensures you don’t have to worry about it getting stuck to the windshield during Lewisville’s cold winter nights.

2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV

Chevy will be releasing the Blazer EV in the spring of 2024. It reimagines what an SUV can be with its sheer power and daring style. A Wide Open Watts (WOW) feature is brand-new, which really does wow. Enabling this mode gives you a GM-estimated 557 horsepower on the SS trim. Super Cruise features take your adventure up a notch and deliver the freedom of available hands-free driving on up to 400,000 miles of compatible roads. Technology goes even further with the 11-inch diagonal driver information screen, 17.7-inch diagonal display screen, and available wireless charging pad.

The base 2LT model features 19-inch wheels, an increased battery capacity, an EPA-estimated 279-mile range with the all-wheel-drive (AWD) powertrain, and advanced safety features. The RS trim adds 21-inch wheels, standard AWD, a black-painted grille panel and lower fascia, Evotex seating, and an illuminated front light bar and bowtie badging. At the top of the list, the SS trim turns heads with its 22-inch multifinish wheels, available Super Cruise technology, and a GM-estimated 290-mile range with the Performance AWD package.

With the aforementioned Regen on Demand and One Pedal Driving enabled, you can get up to a GM-estimated 320 miles on one battery charge. There are a few factors that do affect your battery range, which include:

  • Ambient temperature.
  • Driving terrain.
  • Battery age.
  • Driver habits.
  • Batter condition.
  • Vehicle maintenance.

2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV

The 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV introduces a new truck age. It has all the power of its traditional gas-powered twin but leaves a greener footprint. This powerhouse also has the first-ever WOW feature and can get up to 782 lb-ft of torque and an impressive 754 horsepower. The truck has a jaw-dropping maximum towing capacity of up to 10,000 pounds. While you might think all this power and towing capacity would affect its driving range, the EV has a GM-estimated 400-mile range.

This truck features eTrunk underhood storage, an illuminated front light bar and bowtie emblem, optional rugged 24-inch aluminum wheels, and an available panoramic fixed-glass roof. Innovation doesn’t stop there. A Multi-Flex Midgate with pass-through enables you to configure your truck and truck bed to effortlessly fit items up to 10 feet 10 inches in length. You won’t need to rent a trailer to transport that three-seater sofa; your truck can do it all.

If you want to enjoy the rugged capabilities of a truck but miss certain aspects of more maneuverable SUVs and sedans, you don’t have to miss these features any longer. With the new Silverado EV, you have a tighter turning radius that can help you get into those tricky parking spots or navigate the cramped city streets with ease. This truck accomplishes this by having all four wheels working together for a smaller turning radius rather than just relying on the front two wheels to turn your vehicle left or right.

Safety For All

Each of the new 2024 EV lineup also comes standard with Chevy Safety Assist. This package comes with six advanced driver assistance and safety features to enhance your awareness and confidence on the roads. While additional upgrade options are available, the standard features include:

  • Automatic emergency braking.
  • Front pedestrian braking.
  • Lane keep assist with lane departure warning.
  • Forward collision alert.
  • Intellibeam high beam assist.
  • Following distance indicator.
